Contact Rise Layouts

If you need to reach Rise Layouts, this page has everything you need. Most messages are about something we published on Layout and design fundamentals for people learning to design, a correction or a follow up question, and those are the ones we turn around fastest.

The inbox

[email protected]

Everything arrives in the same inbox and is read by somebody whose name appears on the articles.

Before you send it

The more specific your message, the faster the answer.

• What you need, in one line. Everything else can come under it.
• The address of the page in question, copied rather than paraphrased.
• Browser, device and a screenshot if you are reporting something that looks broken.

Mistakes

Point at the error rather than describing it in general, and we will deal with it fast. The mechanics, including when a change gets a dated note, live in the editorial policy.

Who answers

The person who replies is one of the named writers, not a support agent reading from a script. That is slower at busy times and better every other way.

How quickly we answer

Expect a reply inside a couple of working days for most things. Anything that needs verifying first runs slower, on the principle that a late answer beats a confident wrong one.

Things we cannot help with

Three things come up often and the answer is always no. We do not intervene with other companies on your behalf, we do not give advice for one specific situation, and we do not help with accounts we have nothing to do with. The legal notice says why.
